RUACH

RUACH; oil on panel; 6’x3’; 2022

Ruach is a Hebrew word found in the Old Testament, translating to breath, wind, or spirit, depending on the context in which it is used. This collaboration of sight and sound combines the mediums of painting and music with various techniques found in graphic scores, to explore self and community in a shared time and space. Each movement is purely improvisatory. As an ensemble, we reacted to both the painting and each other.
