This culmination of study features individual projects by students Hans Amor, Alaysja Clark, Rachael Fasano and Lily Morgan. These thoughtful and compelling works present a range of material approaches, including painting, sculpture, video, audio, and animation.
Please join us for an in person public reception with refreshments Thursday, April 28 – 5-7 pm at SPAC Gallery in the Seattle Pacific Art Center. The exhibition will be on view from April 25-May 6.
“Any act in the times we live in can be seen as an act of resistance; art itself is resistance. The work in this show is a push and pull of the personal and the political, and everywhere they intersect. Rejecting snark and sarcasm, these works embrace candor and authenticity, leaning into the discomfort of serious subjects.” -Lauren Boilini, exhibition curator.
